Colorists working in large salons are often hampered by the fact that the salon uses just one brand of color. The colorists abilities are therefore  limited by his choices.

I am not restricted in that way. In my almost twenty two years of experience, I have found that no one single manufacturer can do it all. If I want a certain cool blonde tone, I may choose Tutto or if I want a warmer tone Aloxxi Chroma. A rich brunette may call for  L’Anza. For a strong red - Redken might be called for. New products like Joico’s new line, Duolight,  allows me to lift and tone at the same time, giving me the ability to do subtle highlights in darker hair, that was previously impossible.    I am always looking to improve; I constantly search the internet to see if there is a new better product or method to achieve the best result.

I can, if a client desires, use a product they prefer and might even suggest that myself if I see a good color in someone’s hair which I might not be able to achieve with the products on hand (a very rare situation).  Most often, I can improve even a good color. Far too many women are walking around with “adequate” hair color. I want you to have hair color people will compliment you on. In fact, if you don’t get compliments, then I will have failed. My goal is outstanding color.
