Update: I had the Dyson which with shipping cost me $429.00. And I sent it back. While it was beter balanced than my current dryer, it was far heavier. Furthermore, it did not dry any better. The only thing that was truly superior was that it was quieter - though far from "whisper quiet."  The problem is in the power cable which is a much thicker and heavier cable than any I have ever seen or felt. A fellow stylist tried it and said the same.  If it had pushed more air, I would have kept it, but it didn't. In conclusion; don't believe the hype.

Clients are always asking me what which blow dryer they should buy. This is what I purchased for my wife and step-daughter. It is virtually as good as my top of the line Super Solano and Sedu 4000; yet cost $100 less. Lightweight and sturdy; the Conair Infiniti Pro will last you for years. Highly recommended.

If you want to spend more please be aware of certain facts; virtually every hair dryer can burn your hair so don’t measure a dryer by the amount of heat it produces. A more important measure is – how much air does the dryer push? Very few manufacturers will tell you this most important detail. If a dryer pushes enough air you could even blow dry your hair on the cool setting. Remember; heat damages hair. This is why I prefer ionic dryers in as they lock in a certain amount of moisture.

Another consideration is weight. Some dryers, especially the professional dryers like the Turbo Power and the Velecta/Sedu that do push a lot of air, are too heavy for many women to comfortably use. Is there a perfect dryer? I have tried and used so many. For me the perfect dryer would move a lot of air, be light weight, and quiet enough to talk over. As of yet; I have not found that trifecta. Click on this link:
